Virtual Reception & Artist Talk: October 26, 2023

The works in this exhibition invite us to consider the grounding centers to which we, individually and collectively, find ourselves to be tethered at various points in our lives. These four young emerging artists, all recent alumni of the Samford Art & Design program, each share Samford as a center about which they orbit. Beyond this fact, their individual works speak to the cyclical nature of time and the role that place plays in grounding us to shared centers of gravity.
